On Thursday, May 16, join us at the Hideout Theatre for a very special edition of their weekly Free Fringe. It’s an Evening of Tragedy, featuring Goat, In Our Prime, and a troupe to be named later. Not one, but three troupes rending and tearing at your heart! All in the space of an hour and a half! Can you take it? Of course you can.
The Free Fringe is, as the name implies, free — but you can reserve seats at the Hideout website.
Goat member emeritus Indigo Rael has a pet project she’s been working on, and she’s ready to share it with the world! That’s the Plastic Mermaid Adventure Show, and it’s coming soon to YouTube! But for right now, here’s a trailer!
This is the video from Goat’s show at ColdTowne Theater, April 15, 2013. Featuring special guest Ashley Jayne Carlisle.

This is the show we did on March 2, 2013 at The Institution Theater. Heidi plays an optometrist with relationship issues.
Debuting at the Hideout on Saturday night at 8:00, witness the birth of Strange Worlds! This improvised homage to the classic pulp novels of the distant past comes to you courtesy of director Jordan T. Maxwell, and the cast includes our own Alexander Hilary!
Tickets can be purchased here, and after the show, follow Alex down to The Institution Theater for Goat’s appearance in the Triple Scoop at 10!

We had a couple of special guests at this show: Cat Drago and Jen Kaplan! And man, did they do a great job, telling the story of a young woman who wants to get out of her nowhere town, no matter what the cost, and her father, haunted by his past and hiding things from his family.
Congratulations to Goat’s Alexander Hilary and Sam Schak, for getting cast in the upcoming mainstage show The Suitcase at the Institution Theater! This show is billed as “a dark improv journey,” runs Fridays in May and June, and is directed by the man who literally wrote the book on directing improv, Asaf Ronen!
More info will be available as opening night nears!
Groupon, the daily deal website, is running a deal on The Dinner Detective, an interactive live show that features, among other Austin talent, Goat’s own Heidi Caldwell!
In this interactive show, you get a lovely meal and get to be part of an investigation into murder most foul! This deal cuts the price of admission by half — $125 gets you two tickets. What with Valentine’s Day coming up, if that’s your thing…*
You can see the Groupon deal here.

Here is the video for Chickens, the show we performed at ColdTowne Theater on January 30, 2013! Sam played a woman who felt her life came up short compared to her sister’s. The show starred Sam, Heidi, Alexander, and Brad.
