An Evening of Tragedy

On Thursday, May 16, join us at the Hideout Theatre for a very special edition of their weekly Free Fringe. It’s an Evening of Tragedy, featuring Goat, In Our Prime, and a troupe to be named later. Not one, but three troupes rending and tearing at your heart! All in the space of an hour and a half! Can you take it? Of course you can.

The Free Fringe is, as the name implies, free — but you can reserve seats at the Hideout website.

Enter Alex’s Strange World

Debuting at the Hideout on Saturday night at 8:00, witness the birth of Strange Worlds! This improvised homage to the classic pulp novels of the distant past comes to you courtesy of director Jordan T. Maxwell, and the cast includes our own Alexander Hilary!

Tickets can be purchased here, and after the show, follow Alex down to The Institution Theater for Goat’s appearance in the Triple Scoop at 10!

We had a couple of special guests at this show: Cat Drago and Jen Kaplan! And man, did they do a great job, telling the story of a young woman who wants to get out of her nowhere town, no matter what the cost, and her father, haunted by his past and hiding things from his family.

Alex and Sam are in a Suitcase!

Congratulations to Goat’s Alexander Hilary and Sam Schak, for getting cast in the upcoming mainstage show The Suitcase at the Institution Theater! This show is billed as “a dark improv journey,” runs Fridays in May and June, and is directed by the man who literally wrote the book on directing improv, Asaf Ronen!

More info will be available as opening night nears!
